I have to apologize for not getting a newsletter out in January. With everything we were trying to get done at the end of the year in preparation for construction, I just ran out of time.
Speaking of construction, we are almost finished putting the finishing touches on the new look for the store, and we’re really excited to share it with you!
Our Grand Reopening will coincide with Chocolate Extravaganza on Saturday, February 6th. We open at 10:00 am, but I have heard a rumor that some people are planning to line up early to be the first to get in! If you are one of them, I promise to have free hot chocolate to make your wait a little easier in the cold, and maybe there will be something else special for the first few people in the door. Things you can do for your garden this month:
- Clean out pots and take care of tools
- Check your seeds and plan what new ones to buy
- Start your rosemary plants and perennials from seeds (most others can wait til March)
- Prune trees and shrubs
- Add a layer of mulch to your perennials, shrubs, and trees
- Continue feeding your birds
