Join us tomorrow, February 7th, for Chelsea's 17th annual Chocolate Extravaganza and our on-going Going-Out-of-Business Sale! Everything in the store is 25% to 70% off, while supplies last.

If you've had your eye on something in the store, now's the time! So many people have been in the last few days, grabbing what they can get at great prices, that the shelves are emptying quickly. We'll be open until we sell out of things, but don't wait too long!

Store hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
💚 We may be closing, but our gratitude is endless. You’re awesome, and we cannot thank you enough for the outpouring of love, support, and memories you’ve shared with us these last few days. We are truly overwhelmed - in a good way! 💚

We aren't done yet, so if you haven't made it in (or even if you have!), please do some in, say hi, and do a little last minute shopping. There are still lots of great items available at fantastic prices, and we love seeing you and sharing this bittersweet moment.
Wow!

We are truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love we felt yesterday. Thank you to everyone who stopped in to share kind words, hugs, favorite memories, and how much you’ve loved shopping with us over the years. Seeing so many familiar faces—and a few “one last” (or maybe one of many last 😉) purchases—meant more to us than we can say.

If you weren't able to make it in yesterday - no worries. We will be here for a while yet - we still have a lot of lovely items available, even though many came in, apparently with the intent to buy as much as they could find at great prices.

We'll be here from 10am to 5pm Tuesday through Friday. Come in, say hi, share your favorite memories, and grab "one last" great item while they last.

And don't forget our gift certificates! Search your drawers, pockets, secret hiding places - just be sure to come in and redeem them while you can. If you think you have one somewhere, but can't find it, come in and ask us - we may be able to find it in our records for you. We can't promise, but it's worth a try!

And Thank You! We can't say it enough.
Yes, it's true. We really are closing - and we will miss all of you!

💔25%–70% OFF EVERYTHING IN STORE

🕒 While Supplies Last • Once it’s Gone, it’s Gone • All Sales Final

➡️Gather up your gift certificates - gift certificates will be honored through closing. If you've lost your certificate, check with us - we may be able to find the information.
To everyone who has reached out to say you’ll miss us — thank you. Truly. Your words have brought comfort during a bittersweet time and reminded us why this place mattered so much. We are endlessly grateful for each of you. 🌿

Thank you for supporting us through the years — come in starting tomorrow, say hello, and take home a piece you love before it’s gone.
A Heartfelt Message from The Garden Mill

With heavy hearts, we are sharing news we never imagined we would have to write.

After 20 years in business — and almost 14 years under my ownership — The Garden Mill will be closing its doors. This decision has come after much reflection, many difficult conversations, and an overwhelming sense of sadness. The current economic climate has been especially hard on small, locally owned retail businesses like ours, and despite our very best efforts, it has become clear that we can no longer continue.

The passing earlier this month of my mother, Joan Sampieri, seemed to make the decision even more appropriate. I bought the store in 2012, after the death of my husband. It seems fitting that the closing comes following the loss of my mother. It’s time for me to find another path.

To everyone who walked through our doors — whether once or hundreds of times — thank you. Thank you for supporting small business, for sharing your lives with us, and for allowing The Garden Mill to be part of your home and your memories. Saying goodbye feels like saying goodbye to a piece of our hearts.

We will be closed for the remainder of the month of January as we take inventory and prepare for the next chapter. We will reopen on Tuesday, February 3rd for our going-out-of-business sales, and we truly hope you’ll come visit us during this time and help us clear out the remaining inventory.

More details will be shared as we approach our February reopening. Until then, please know how deeply grateful we are for each and every one of you.
With love and gratitude,

Jennifer
